  • Summary
The Plimouth County Wargamers is an informal wargaming group of six to ten members, which meets at 7pm each Thursday evening, in Plymouth, MA, USA.
  • Time Periods
        The periods we game are:
    • Napeolonic
    • American War of Independence
    • World War II
    • 19th Century Colonial
    • Age Of Sail
    • WWI Flying
    • King Philips War
    • WW II Air
    • War of Roses
    • American West
    • Franco-Prussian War
    • WW II Naval
    • Ancient Naval
    • Other
We are open to gaming in other periods as well.
Most of our figures are in 15mm scale.
  • Recent Events
We are currently running a Napoleonic campaign set in 1809 Spain. Previously, we had an AWI campaign set in 1778 New Jersey.
  • Method of Play
The campaign is controlled by a Game Master who plots the locations of all units on a map and informs the commanders of each side when intelligence is gathered and units come into contact. Each side commander keeps track of his and enemy troops on his own map based on information from the Game Master. This simulates the fog of war. Battles are fought out on the table when indicated by the circumstances of the campaign. Losses and attrition are tracked by the Game Master and communicated to the side commanders.
  • Our Members
Our members have a wide variety of gaming experience. Some of us have been in the hobby since the 70's while others are relative newcomers. We welcome any and all serious gamers.
